HOLY ANTIQUE SHOW MOTHERLOAD!!!
SCORE!?!?!
So I was a bit bored today and decided to head out to the local antique show that was in town. I had never been to this show before so didn't know what to expect. WOW,,,,I'm so glad I went. I was only able to go to about half of the booths that vendors set up (there were hundreds) so I was a man on a MISSION!
I found gobs of old straights strewn about in display cases randomly just waiting to be taken home. So after about two hours of scouring, haggling, and quite honestly being so excited I almost crapped my pants, I finally walked out of the building with 17 old straight razors and the cool old "dresser box" which I'm going to repurpose as my "shave box".
Granted most the razors I found were far from perfect but I know I found some gems and a few HAVE to be at least a hundred years old. I tried to pick the blades with the least amount of pitting/rust. All of them have the original scales which some are decent and some pretty rough. Even got the original box for a few of them. Next week the gun and knife show comes to town!
Enough babbling, needless to say I'll be busy for a while (apologies for poor picture quality).....ENJOY!

A nice variety. Can I see a better pic of the shoulderless in the tortoise-like scales? I like the look of the blade. Who is the maker for that razor?

Hey Chris,
The razor you are referencing is a Emil Kronenberg -Solingen. It says Rost Frei on the blade whatever that means in German. Nice scales but the blade is probably the worst out of the entire bunch so it's hard to tell what I will do with it. More pics for you below....
Randy, the razor you are referring to is the Sheffeild Sheaf-Works, which probably has the nicest blade of all the razors I hauled in.
I also included pics of the Sheffield Sheaf-Works and the Wostenholm original pipe razor which I think they are both pretty old. I thought I included these pics in the original post but didn't.
So in everyones opinion what is the best find or most uncommon?? I'm thinking the Sheffield Sheaf-Works or the U. Wostenholm Ebro Perserverence. I've seen alot of George or Geo Wostenholms but never a U. Wostenholm so I'm thinking it may be a bit earlier.
Thanks for the comments....
