Hah! Just had to look up in th FAQ what SWMBO meant, brilliant. As a newly married young gent (second attempt) I truly am realizing how true this acronym is. My wife actually just looked and shook her head as I excitedly showed her my haul from the show. You must have yours trained a bit better than mine....wow, she BUYS you old razors! Please let me know your secret sir!

I don't know what I did to warrant this ability, but I don't question it! I just enjoy it I guess she thinks its safer than other "hobbies" I've had (such as frequenting bars and such)...

Nice collection in one fell swoop! Very good Greaves Sheaf Works, also the EBRO. Your Rost Frei proves that "stainless steel.....isn't", but should clean up very nicely. You have many pleasant days of restoration and honing ahead! I look forward to seeing more pics later on. Congratulations.

Thanks for the words of inspiration Croaker. Gonna try to start setting up to try my hand at polishing, rescaling, repinning, etc. I have been reading the posts on on make a homemade grinder with some mods.

I already made the "dremel" mistake on one of my junker razors a while back, yes somehow I still have both my eyes after the shrapnel fallout.

Hopefully be posting some pics of my first "attempt" at a restore soon. Gotta start somewhere right?
