Razors found: Webster Flea Mkt Florida 02/21/11
I have always wanted to go to the huge Webster Flea Market here in Florida and never made it until today... Here is what I found in order of acquisition starting at 6am and finished by 11am....
J.Mechi 112 Regent St
Challenge Cutlery Co. Bridgeport, CT
"Trustworthy" Mappin & Webb Royal Cutlery Works Sheffield
Packwood Silver Steel stub-tail 1820's
York Cutlery & Compy. Bone
John Shaw Sheffield Crown mark
Joseph Rodgers & Sons Cutlers to their Majesties No 6 Norfolk St Sheffield
Joseph Elliot Silver Steel Blade etching faint early 1830's long blade
John Coe 23 Burgess Street Sheffield
John Barber Patent Tempered Steel Reground to hollow bare Masonic mark
Also 3 Coffins 1 contemporary Barber Supply "Practice razor", One Wade & Butcher that came with Mechi, and one early small coffin that housed the Packwood, perhaps original and correct to that razor.
2 Double Coffin paired cases housing the Elliot and Rodgers and the Barber and Coe.Last edited by AntiqueHoosier; 02-21-2011 at 09:41 PM.
