I've got a 7 day set of them and they are first rate shavers IME. Good catch.

I have no way of knowing. What with the 'Souvenir of Germany' etch on yours I would guess the 1950s but not sure. Mine have 'Silver Steel' etched on the blade below the spine with 'Solingen' in a ribbon etched beneath that. Those seem to me to be 1920s or '30s but that is just a guess. If manah sees the thread he may have documentation on the years of production for Kobar.

His company was in business 1902-1939. Located Kanalstrasse 51, Solingen.Alex Ts.
