    Had a Kobar once..I regret ever letting it go..It was a great shaver.

    I've got a 7 day set of them and they are first rate shavers IME. Good catch.
    Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

    I have no way of knowing. What with the 'Souvenir of Germany' etch on yours I would guess the 1950s but not sure. Mine have 'Silver Steel' etched on the blade below the spine with 'Solingen' in a ribbon etched beneath that. Those seem to me to be 1920s or '30s but that is just a guess. If manah sees the thread he may have documentation on the years of production for Kobar.

    Trademarks "Kobar" and "Esposos" were used by Friedrich Emde.
    His company was in business 1902-1939. Located Kanalstrasse 51, Solingen.
