    Great score!
So far so good. This is the 7/8 W&B next to the 4/8 Baby Butcher after going up to 800 grit wet/dry by hand. The 7/8 has some deeper pitting towards the barbers notch but I think I can look past that as it shows the blades age.

I think I want to build these two as a matching set. Although I am having problems deciding on scale material. I'm interested in 3 mediums in no particular order

Amboyna Burl with brass/lead/brass stacked wedge. Brass pins/washers.

Zebrawood with Picasso Jasper wedge. Brass pins/washers

Translucent Buffalo horn with brass/lead/brass stacked wedge. Brass pins/washers.

Both will have the same style scale as the 7/8 had originally to upkeep tradition.

Any advice is welcomed, and thank you for the kind comments!
