Default My First Purchase; Time To shave !

I just purchased my first razor, a vintage Wade & Butcher with red scales. I purchased it from Max (known on this forum as Maximilian) at Madaspen Home
Luxurious European Styled Bedding,Linens,Contemporary Throw Pillows,Baby Bedding,Papillon Linens

I spent today driving over the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area looking for accessories. I will spend the next 3 days reading more on the forum, before actually putting razor to face.

Thanks to the members on this forum that have helped me get started.

Good luck hunting for gear, and congrats on your wonderful razor.
That thing will shave great, no doubt.
Just be patient and work on your technique, you'll get there

Welcome to the club! You've come to the right place. The guys here are great. They are so helpful and have a plethora of information. Max honed a revisor I purchased...it's without a doubt my sharpest razor so be careful. Don't apply pressure when shaving...just the weight of the blade. The hair will melt off.

Nice razor. Good thing because some people start w/ a lower quality razor & end up giving up before they learn.

Very nice choice. The Wade&Butchers are great shavers. I shave in the evening when everyone has gone to bed, so there will be no distractions. Take your time, keep the face damp and well lathered and you'll do fine.

    Good luck
