Default I finally borrowed a camera

I've been on here since september and wanting to let people see what I have been aquireing and working on, but I had to find someone to loan me a camera first so here goes

first up is the heirlooms I started out with before I ever heard of srp
from left to right they are a red imp wedge, a henkels 401, a curtin & clark, and grandpa's wilbert cutlery

second up is a scheffield beats all, a fox cutlery, and a joseph allen and sons that I got on ebay immediately upon joining up...and as you can see I had to grind off the heal of the fox cutlery to make it useable, and I'm rescaleing the joseph allen and sons

and finally about four days ago I visited my very first antique store and walked away with a bowdin and a 7/8 w&b wedge

I am going to have to rescale the bowdin too

The W&B Fine India Steel looks in great condition. Congrats on all.

everyone seems to see the wade & butcher the same why I did when I first saw it. I gotta tell you I wasn't expecting anything that nice when I saw it in the case and my jaw droped when I opened it up to look at the blade. I figgured if I didnt buy it on the spot I would have regreted it for a long time to come.

Did you pay a premium price for the W&B? From what I've picked up so far in the short time I've been around here is that even people who know nothing about SR's know the "big 'uns" are special! Am I correct? Thanks in advance for the info!

actually I only payed $28 for it....it must be a regional thing, there being so few people around here that will buy a SR. I suppose it would be like trying to sell winter coats in Hawii.
