With my straight razor rotation at an even dozen, RAD has given way to LAD (Lid Acquisiton Disorder). Nice score on this Barlesoni Panama at the Flea Market today

Yes many panama's are in fact fedoras. The Panama however is made of straw. Actually real Panama's are mostly made in Ecuador and the Panama name came from the turn of the last century when they were brought to Panama for export to the U.S. and Europe.

As a matter of fact I am a child of the 70s. A lid has always been a hat to me, God knows having grown up in central Florida in the 70s the silly weed was never a consideration (that's my story and I'm sticking to it.) Perhaps for clarity sake, the acronymn should be CAD Cover Acquisition Disorder but then Computer Assisted Drafting would undoubtedly come up in the discussion.
