    Default One of my razors

Just a couple quick pics of one of my razors. This one is a hand-me-down that my grandfather used to use in his barber shop. Cleaned it up with a little Flitz last night and the blade looks nice. The scales are horribly lose, and it needs a good honing but I'm looking forward to seeing how it shaves.

Don't know much about it, other than it and the box both look fairly new. Any info or experiences would be appreciated.

I like heirloom razors, but this looks to good to be an heirloom. curious as to how she shaves.

Thanks for the reply. I'm curious to see how it shaves too, the edge is gonna take some work, but I'll report about it after I give it a shave.

Wow! It looks as-new! American steel was good in razors! I would be willing to bet it is a fine shaver. It would be nice to have an heirloom in that condition. Cool!

Thank you. This one did take some work to get it clean, the toe quarter of the razor was almost completely black. It almost looked as though it was chrome plated, and it had chipped off. Some Flitz and a lot of rubbing is what made this one look so good! I have a few other heirloom razors that look just as good, I'll be sharing those ones soon.

Flitz - Flitz Polish - Liquid This is the polish, but the one I have is in a white bottle (few years old) It works well!

That carpet is wall-to wall in all my bedrooms and living room!

Dark spotting could likely be water staining, Flitz is perfect for cleaning this in my experience. One thing to watch out for with any polish like this though, is any gold wash on the blade will easily be removed.
