R. Spiecker & Sohn double ivory threat...
Just about got two of the kids trained. Last year, I began the training in the grocery store looking at Gillette razors. I told them that they were made of plastic, the oldest gets a goofy look on her face and says, "but you can't shave with PLASTIC!". <wicked grin> exactly, sweety.
Fast forward a year and now I can enter an antique store and release the razor monkeys in search of razors with successful retrievals rewarded in sweet sweet ice cream. Today, they came up and said that they had found one for me to look at.....good razor monkeys
R. Spiecker & Sohn in ivory scales and matching ivory tang....

Nice razor. I'd sand the end of the tail to smooth it off.

I love those covered tangs! It's a shame that one has seen better days, but with a little sanding it would come out amazing! Great find
