Default I swear it's not RAD.

    I'm pretty sure it isn't.

All of these are from the bay, and to be honest I know next to nothing about most of them. There's the "monkey" razor (light scales, seem like Ivory, with the carving on them) that has an awful play on the pin but I love the blade.

A Genco Red Cross, missing it's badge - I like this one. (If anyone happens to have a loose badge in need of a good home, PM me)

There's the three "generic black scale" cute ones, an Excelsior and a couple others I don't know - the top one was broken and badly ground, so it's a short blade. I cleaned that one a little.

The "Candy" razor, with the translucent orange scales and no markings is very pretty.

And the shoulderless with the barber's notch came in a box that hints at Sheffield, but the blade is unmarked.

Soon I will start cleaning them, and I may even try to hone one or two.

If you recognize or have any info on any of them I'll be glad to hear it. Except the shorty up there, these are all in the condition they came to me.

That last one looks a lot like a couple of Torreys I have. Not sure though without the markings.

Excuse me, it RAD!!! But as the wife says, "You're having fun with this!"
Besides, it's cheaper than buying motorcycles, cars or guns.

Oh, man! Oh, man! Oh, man!

The problem is... I still buy motorcycles and guns (mercifully I have no room for cars, and only one bike at the time.) Add to that the cameras, the guitars, the Zippos, the tools, and the hobby du jour. My wife is tolerant, though, and allows me to play and spend within reason.

It's not RAD, I know it.

Yep, Snake, it's RAD! You seem to have a good eye for some reasonably full blades! You'll be fine. It's OK!
"Don't be stubborn. You are missing out".
    I rest my case.

Right On! That's my favorite excuse when the subject of RAD comes up. When compared to guns, motorcycles or cars, a handful of flea market straights sure seem pretty harmless.
