Thanked: 1Ghetto brush holder
here's something to do if your broke like me and have fifteen minutes to kill. Obviously its a wire coat hanger. I know... it could look alot better. Actually, when i buy a mini blowtorch next ( i used to have one alas an over enthusiastic friend killed it) i might try this again and put a little effort into making it look pretty. I just wanted to see if i could do it. then i thought people would get a laugh out this so i decided to post it.

Cool!
I did that for my brushes as well.
I have since bought proper holders, but you know what? I still use my home made 3-brush stand made by a wire coat hanger.
All the rest is standing base down, I only need to dry 3 at any given timeBjoernar
Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....

I think I've got the sister to the vintage brush you've got there. I love the shape and size of the handle but the natural bristle knot isn't a great performer. I've got a friend who is going to turn an identical handle in acrylic. I'll set a badger knot in it.
Funky stand. Works for me.

When I first started shaving with a straight I made this:
Since then I have made one out of wire, similar to yours, but there is a wooden one I have started to think about building. Luckily, my white-wire stand sits in a corner of a white boxed shelf, so it is pretty unobtrusive.

Thanked: 1@adbuett thats great! lol. I'm actually working on a wooden one myself right now. i'll post it when i get done. it'll be a while though i just moved and i have to find my dremel to smooth it out.
@qatstats Yeah that brush isn't the greatest but i like it better than my walgreen's brush. I found it at the antique mall here in town and it matches the logo of my mug so i went ahead and bought it. i had a problem with the plastic and the knot actually seperating from the wood handle so i had to put a piece of electrical tape around the wood that enters the plastic part to keep everything together
