    Default Interesting scales construction.

Nothing special, but easy and beautiful. IMHO.
The scales are without scale wedge.
I've never seen such construction before.
    The trademark is interesting too.
Isaac Rosenbaum used trademark "Iros Keen" for about a year, 1924-25, after he opened his own import agency. Before that, he was a partner in Rosenbaum & Mogal, 1917-1924.
Isaac Rosenbaum agency located at 91 Bowery, New York City.

Well, that's a lot less trouble, isn't it? Do you think that is original or a latter day mod?

    That looks interesting.
At first i thought that the original wedge had broken and fallen away but seeing the sleeve on the front pin tells that this isn't the case.
I've never seen such thing before. Must be rare. Nice piece of history!

Yes. This pin sleeve and the middle are the same.

Looks like the idea might help prevent uneven closing of the blade, where it strikes the scales at the wedge end when the scales warp slightly or the pivot pin bends a little. Thank you for the excellent photo of an interesting razor!

    Taylor made them too.

Manah, Thanks for the date on that Rosenbaum. I have an old "scout" knife with an IROS KEEN tang stamp.
