Thread: Regeldso 6/8 razor

Here is the razor that I am using as a first time straight razor shaver. I picked it up on eBay and paid a good price. I wanted something that was of this calibre, looks and quality wise.

I may send it out to get evaluated as far as being shave ready. I think it is shave ready but I have nothing to compare that to since I never owned or used one before now.

That's one beautiful razor. Was it sold as shave ready? It could be NOS with the factory edge.

Try it out and if it isn't up to par send it out for a professional honing!

It shaves OK. I think I may send it out after all. I suspect it isn't as sharp as it should be. It shaves hairs of my cheek but I feel it should be smoother. Gonna search out a honemeister or Lynn himself.
