Default FW Engels Leader, Swedish, and a little motherly love...

Went to a local antique store and scored a couple nice ones this weekend....

First up is a F.W. Engels Leader in great shape...

Second is a CV Heljestrant MK.31. Not my closest shavers, but right up there as one of my most comfortable.

The third item is a custom razor roll my mother made for me I gave her a silk sword bag that I wasn't using at the time and told her some basic perameters for the project and then just set her loose. I think it came out pretty darned nice and may very well be the only silk razor roll out there at the moment. It fits everything from 4/8 all the way up through 8/8

    The razors of honor are:

    Wostenholm in blond horn
    Boker Warranted
    CV Heljestrand MK31
    Wade & Butcher Invincible
    C.Mon Blackie in abalone
    FW Engels Leader
    R. Spiecker and Sohn in ivory

The Leader is one of the prettiest razors and best shavers I've got. I've never had a Heljestrand that wasn't a superlative shaver out of a dozen or so. Nice score.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Leaders are superb shavers, and yours, like the rest of the razors pictured, is a very nice looking specimen. Congratulations and good hunting in the future!
