    Default New antique store find!

Got this today... hope its a good one the scales are missing some washers on the pins so I'll have to redo those. but the blade seems to be on the up and up! some rust but I can wipe that out no Problem! just wanted to know if any of you know any history on this blade. (I know I ask for alot of history, but as a collector I love the age and stories it tells.

P.S. I also apologize and worry a lot about bothering you people as you know way more than me!)

    Here it is!

From your photos, it has a slight frown. Hold that thought. The rusty tang indicates that it needs to be taken apart and the rust needs to be removed. The scales look salvageable and new pins and washers along with some MAAS will get you back in the ballgame. Then it will be time to drag the blade across a DMT 325 to level the point and the heel until the frown is gone. Then to the 1k and etc. Good luck on your resto.........

It's definitely a salvageable razor. Take the advice above and you will end up with a fine razor...congrats!
