Thread: Cheap Tag Sale Finds Today

Who says there's no good cheap finds at tag sales any more. I stopped at a tag sale this afternoon on the way home from the shop (left early to play taxi driver for my youngest) just to have a look around.
I was just about to walk away when my wandering eyes spotted a couple dirty boxes on the porch. Upon a closer look I found these two bench grinding'buffing arbors for a wallet wrecking price of $5.00 for the pair. One is a heavy duty cast unit from Miller Falls Tools and the lighter (but still rugged) one comes from Craftsmen.
I can't wait to give these things a little cleaning, few shots of oil and give them a go.
You just can't have to many buffing set-ups in the shop.

I just picked up a similar unit, mounted to a board with a motor.

It has a cut off wheel on it along with a wire brush on the other side.

Man, those would be handy. Nice find.
