    Default My latest find! ;D

    So i found a pretty kick butt deal on Houston's craigslist! I got a Dovo Bergischer lowe, a Wade & butcher, a Caswell-Massey silver tip badger brush, and some shaving creams..all for $200!! the Wade & Butcher has some pits but the guy told me he had it professionally honed and the scales are great, i think the pits give it character! let me know what yall think about the deal!! sorry for the bad pics i have a cruddy phone.

    If you're happy that is what is important. I don't think it is something I would have pulled the trigger on but that's just me. different tastes for different people.

    yea $200 is a bit much but for those blades and the brush i was like, "heck yes!!" i basically got a $250 razor for $67 =]

    Looks like a decent find, the Bergisher Lowe sure is pretty and the W & B does look like it has been honed

    Personally, I think you did quite well. The BL retails over $230, and look at all the stuff you got in addition.

    BTW, hone wear on that W&B is rather light and even. The rounded toe looks original to me, and given that the blade appears to be half or quarter hollow, that's barely any wear at all.

    Thanks! the Brush is $100 on their own website!! i dont know if the scales are original on the W&B tho..but they sure are nice! =]
