Nakayama Maruichi Hoyama (Asagi?)
I just picked this one up and received it yesterday. I don't know much about it but I am going to lap it and see how it works this weekend. Stamps are the Maruichi stamps but no Maruka. The stone is very blue-green in person with red sides which is why I say "Asagi?" in the title of the thread. One end of the stone is a bright orange on the top surface while the rest of the surface is a bright blue green, much brighter in person than in the photos.
There is a "Razor use" stamp on this stone the Nihon Kamisori stamp.

Stefan,
That's correct, I know the risk involved but I like to gamble lol. I actually have three other stones from him that are fine and I haven't had any problems with them. Maybe I am lucky? They're not in Ozuku Asagi range but they're good for before that step.

Update:
I lapped the stone (no more stamps...oh well) and then lapped it on sandpaper up to 1000grit. I then used a piece of my Ozuku Asagi (it's tomonagura) to finish smoothing the stone surface. It took an extremely long time to see any slurry at all on the Nakayama Maruichi from the Oozuku Asagi nagura. That, to me anyway, would make it seem like this stone is almost as hard as my Oozuku stone...
