    Default Just bought this W&B on ebay.

    Hi guys,

    I just bought this Wade & Butcher on ebay...

    Hope it will be worth the money.

    I'm planning to make some black horn scales for it and give it some nice sanding and polishing.
    I hope it will be a nice shaver.

    Any comments on the type or age?

    I'd say you did quite well. Those big Wade & Butchers are top notch shavers.

    I'd say you did alright. It looks to me like the pitting under that devil's spit is probably on the deep side, but one can't be sure from the photos. And as Theseus said, she'll make a great shaver once you have her back in fighting form.
