From the dawn of time....
I'm really into super old wedges at the moment.
Yesterday was a good day, two new stub tails.
The top one is a shave ready James Johnson in tortoise, and the bottom is a John Barber in translucent horn, which need a little work. Both from around 1800-1820ish.

Nice looking razors, I would like to see a picture of the John Barber, when it's sorted.

Nice scores. Might be the light but the blades look gold.

I used the top one today. Shaved like a dream.
Don't we have a cool hobby? We can use 200 year old antiques on a daily basis, and they work just as well as they did when new.
