Ivory Tangs are cracked. Scum on the blade but no pitting. Should clean up nicely.

Beautiful, what type of scale material are you considering?

I thought the case was cool so i bought them. As for the scales i guess ill just have to put on the ivory coloured scales. the ivory on the tang is only cracked so ill glue them up.

I picked up a pair just like this (but with the ivory scales) from an antique shop in Mexico City. They appeared to be unused and indeed I was able to shave with them right out of the box. They are extraordinary shavers, brushing aside stubble in a smooth stately fashion like a couple of Rolls Royces. This particular Joseph Rodgers model is the equal of any razor every made, yet it doesn't seem to fetch anywhere near the prices that the W&B's, Fillies and other over-hyped marks do. Why can't they make razors like these anymore?
