If I'm not mistaken, that's a Wade & Butcher Bow razor. Not sure of time period.

I'll second that it looks just like the W&B Bow trademark.

I can't say the brand name with any certainty, but those scales are identical to those on my Genco. I suppose that doesn't mean anything conclusive.....

I own 2 wade and butcher bow razors. That is a bow. No doubt about it. It looks to be well restored, although at some point, somebody had to sand the blade quite a bit. Every bow I've seen has a hallmark etched across the blade, although on one of mine it has been sanded half way off.

In best condition, you can read on the face of the blade:

THE ORIGINAL AND ONLY GENUINE BOW RAZOR
    MANUFACTURED SOLELY BY

    WADE & BUTCHER, SHEFFIELD, ENGLAND

It's a W&B Bow & the scales are not original.

I didn't think they were original. Of the two I have, one was in black horn, and the other had obviously been re-scaled in hideous multi-colored plastic. (since then I've rescaled them in more basic black celluloid)

I'm guessing the black horn was original.

Horn, bone, & ivory was pretty much a standard till celluloid was invented
