    Default First buy...

Nothing too special just curious about a couple of the items.

Here is the razor. It's an Abrham George, made in Sheffeild. Hardly any rust, but still in pretty rough shape. I thought it would be a good razor to hold onto incase I want to try my hand at restoring.

I thought this was pretty neat. It's an adjustable handheld strop. I had never seen this before, but after a quick search I found that these are actually still made. Any info about this style?

Norton Abrasives No. 1 Washita oilstone.

    Is this still useable?

Washitas are very hard and slooow cutters, they can produce a good edge, try it sometime when you have a day with nothing to do,
It is easier to fool people than to convince them they have been fooled. Twain
