My occamage grows as I have added this one to it.
Any information on this one would also be very much appreciated.
All I did with this one was unpin, clean up and repin and hone.
I will shave with it later and post the results.Hang on and enjoy the ride...

Simmons hardware co was a catolog company based in St louis. Known for the KeenKutter brand of hardware. Razors were made in St Louis as well as imported from Germany. Check the backside of the tang for more info.

The backside of the tang is blank - no markings

i have a simmons keen kutter and out of 11 other razors i have .......it is the best

I have shaved with this one twice now and I think it needs a trip back to the hones as, whilst it shaves OK, it is not as smooth as the Geo F Creutzburg.
Just some fine tuning needed, I thinkHang on and enjoy the ride...

Simmons, Shapleigh and others made or imported wonderful shavers. That this one shaves well is no surprise.

Gentlemen: I have a Simmons Hardware razor, honed by Sham, and the shave is sweet like first love. Good restoration work, Havachat.
