Default Solingen 5/8 with worked spine

    Got this one from ebay.
I bought it because I like those worked spines.
Also because this razor resembles one I already have.
I posted this razor here http://straightrazorpalace.com/show-...ail-today.html (First razor)

The blade has an engraved 'etch' and a worked spine.
The tang only says 'garantie solingen'.
On the scales there is a silver inlay piece with the text 'Solingen'.

The 'etch' probably had some gold and dark coloring in its young days.
Would I leave it as it is or would I try to fill the engraved itch with some coloring?

Looks great. I think yor better off leaving the etching alone.

That is gorgeous! Needs nothing but honing and use. Looks like it might be a very good shaver to me.
