    Talking Finally I decided for a Jugendstil from Wacker

    I have been looking and reading for a whole week, And now, I finally decided to give my self a Jugendstil from wacker . I made my order today. And now the hard part! the waiting time

    Congrats, Wackers are beautiful.

    Have in mind it might not come shave-ready.

    My friend Blix is right. If coming directly from the factory, in all likelihood the Wacker will not be shave-ready. In that case, I suggest sending it to a honemeister. Don't try to hone it yourself — maybe in the future, but not now. Look in the SRP Member Services for honemeisters.

    Yea, I've heard about that.. Luckely they say its shave ready on their website...
    I have plans of changing the scales to mammoth ivory. For that i'am searching for a scandinavian that can do it for me.

    100x on a flat newspaper and he is a long way to shave ready.
    They come not quite ready shave, but that little finish push with a newspaper makes him ready . It worked perfectly for me anyway
