Default Exhibition of the Industry of all Nations Razor!

I have a buddy who sends me stuff and I send him some on occasion. We call it the "mystery razor club" ! This round he sent me this old Frederick Reynolds from a 1853 World's fair Exhibition in New York. Another one to leave as-is and just display. I have not seen another. Neat!

Very nice razor. It couldn't hurt too much to just put an edge on it and save with it. Not every razor needs to be in pristine condition to use. Maybe just scrape off any loose rust first. Enjoy!

very nice. The Crystal Palace expo site is now where the NY Public Library stands was part of the exhibit. Bryant Park next to the library is the part of the block where the actual Palace stood. This info from Bomar's book on US Expositions.
