Thread: A Very Large Henkels

Hello Everyone,
Its been a while since ive been active, I have found a Large Henkels Razor, Its a Wallhanger for sure.
The Blade is 24 inches long from the Tang to the tip of the blade, Blade Width is 2 3/8 in. Thats right or a 19/8 Razor,
It is pretty heavy, The Overall length opened is 38 In. The grind appears to be 1/2 hollow to me. Blade is 5/8 inch Thick
A friend of mine recently acquired this Extremly Manly Razor LMAO
Would any members here be able to tell me about this razor?
Possibly when it was made, approximate value?

Hey Jwoods, long time no see. Just a friendly reminder from a moderator (me) , we don't do appraisals on SRP and that razor is a great example of why. No telling what it is worth so any opinions expressed would be exactly that.

Stropping that bad boy might be a three handed job.

good to see you jimmy ill get a pais appraisal for it once i find a good apporaiser in straight razors im going to shoot for a % of the sale plus get him to donate a % to the site bas well it depends what its worth

Whoa, now that is a find. I want to meet the guy who shaved with that bad boy. That razor definitely screams, "check me out."

I wonder if they sell a 24" x 4" chosera?
