Antique furniture store find! Monster
Well, I went with my brother-in-law today to look for a set of 4 kitchen chairs. We went to a town about twenty miles away and arrived at an antique furniture place. We went in and to my surprise there were other antiques besides furniture. While I was standing watching him take pics and send them to his wife, I saw what appeared to be a straight razor and mentioned it to him. He said oh yes, I wanted to show you this. There in the corner was a dusty glass case with a few straights in it. As I was looking at them he says laughingly, how about this one. My eyes bulged and I said yes. Here is what he held up.

Yup, there are a few of those floating around out there. I have one too. I love the tiny scales on such a massive blade.
A huge congrats on the find; I always hope I'll come upon another one.

Yes, It seams the scales were the same size as a 7/8 Wade and Butcher I have. Did you restore it? I would love to see a pic.

I have one of those monster GB razors. It's the biggest one I've seen on the boards.
