    Default New Sign

My hand-painted sign just got here today from Starr Studios in CA. http://starrstudios.net/

Sean did a great job and even surprised me with some gold leaf. Love it.

What a wonderful sign design. Red is nice and bold, and I love the miniature barber pole. You must be pleased.

Sweet signSix! So are you, in fact a Barber, or do you just have one hell of an extensive shave den?!

Not a barber and my shave den is still small compared to others. But my collection is growing pretty well. Plus my recent divorce gave me full control of my expenses and an unused spare bedroom. I dubbed it the Six Nipples Barber Shop. And I needed a sign.

Now if i can just find a working, lighted barber pole, I will be happy. The ones on eBay quickly blow by my spending limit. One day...

Theres a listing on the Chicago craigslist for barber chairs and poles "ANTIQUE OAK BARBER CHAIR & BARBER POLE - $350 (Oconomowoc)"

Doesn't say how much specifically for the pole.

Thanks for the Craigslist tip. I might give them a call, but I am in MD.

It might be worth asking if the seller will ship it.

Just talked to the guy. He's asking $350 for the barber pole (last pic). But with shipping and no real buyer's protection, I think I will have to pass. If only he were closer.

    Thanks again.

Wow, that's steep. Maybe he will change his mind if it sits around long enough.

That's an awesome sign. Good luck finding a pole.
