    Default My first wedge

Just found this beautiful old Wosty "The Real IXL Razor" on Saturday. It's the first true wedge I've found while searching local antique stores. It's in the original box with an 1894 date on it. It's ashamed the scales are broken. I'd love to figure out how to use the engraved writing on the scales as an inlay when I restore it. I've done a little light sanding & removed the gross rust. I'm going to do some very light buffing so I don't trash the blade etching. It's all still legible. Sorry for the iPhone pic.

That's a nice flade. Assuming that there are no edge problems I hear they are good shavers.

She should keep you happy for a while.

    Best of luck,

    Marcos
