Cool Mappin & Webb / Fuller day!!!

    Behold and be jealous!!!

Two fantastic gifts! A restored Mappin & Webb Trustworthy (my last name is Webb) and NOS Fuller Scuttle.

The scuttle had never been used. It came in the original case with a matching Fuller Shaving Brush (Pure Badger) and the Puck of Fuller Shaving Soap (heavy tallow and lathers great).

I have used the scuttle almost daily, but the razor still needs to be honed (this weekend). I anticipate an excellent shave.

They were Christmas Gists (yeah I'm a little slow posting it). It was a very good Christmas.

May your lather be moist and slick, the sweep of your razor sure, and your edge always keen!

A rare find on Flea Bay under $40 including shipping. I had been looking for a used one for around the same price. When I saw this one never used with matching brush and vintage soap puck, it begged me to own it!

It does seem that Webbs can be excellent shavers. (Double entendre)

Love the scuttle! Always had a thing for ceramics with blue art on them, my mother used to collect stuff like that.
