Default Gun show Dubl Duck find.

Went to the gun show today specifically to look at straights as I heard there was going to be someone selling some there. Well, $45 dollars later I left with these two items:

Scales are rough, but the blade looks workable.

Not sure if this is the same Rooney that makes the high end brushes, maybe someone here can tell me? The brush was cheap whatever the case.

    Thanks for looking,

    Dan

Yeah the brush is what caught my eye but I wasn't sure if it was the Rooney I was thinking it was due to the low price and my inexperience with brushes. Turns out butterscotch Rooney brushes are common and very cool, so I'm happy.

The brush was all I bought until I was randomly standing next to someone's firearm stand on the way out. I was waiting for a crowd to clear when I noticed the Dubl Duck sitting there amongst a few handguns. When I asked "How much?" I was surprised to hear the guy say "I don't know, what ever someone will offer." It was mine right then and there. I went to the show looking for a DD or a W&B so leaving with a Dubl Duck and a Rooney for $45 made my day. My only problem is I now have three straights but all of them need to be honed before I can wet shave again, I need to look into getting that taken care of.

Let me rephrase this because I am unable to edit the post again:
Butterscotch Rooney brushes are not that common, as I originally stated What I meant is that people know what they are, and they're not some unknown knockoff like I thought until I did some research.
