Default Shoulderless ERN with worked spine

My recent EBay purchase just arrived. It is a shoulderless ERN with a worked spine, and "Mignon" on the blade. "Mignon" perhaps alludes to "small and pretty" for the French market?

Thats nice! The spinework is unusual too. Erns shave great! It's a keeper!

It just got honed on 4000, 8000 and 12000 grit stones, followed by a strop on .5 micron diamond on felt and then on english leather. The blade sings when stropped too:-) Now passes hanging hair test.

Nice Razor, this spinework is very unusual for an ERN, maybe added later.

The spine work is very good. If it was added later, it was done by a professional.

i have an ERN one with that style of stippling filework on the spine, problably not a big marketing success back in the day but it is still very nice. i also have this on an tandeross razor.
