A tiny tree symbol stamped on the tang. Not sure what or when this represents. But very cool nonetheless.

The workmanship on this blade is amazing. The scales speak for themselves, and the black resin? that is inlayed in the blade stamping really brings out how well this blade must have been cared for in the past. Very deep blade stamp. This is my first full wedge, barbers notch and Wosty. All wrapped up into one. I can't wait to see how it shaves. I hope it's as buttery of a shaver as it looks.
That would a Joseph Wostenholm and Sons razor rather than a George. It's a fine looking razor and ought to be smooth shaver.

I've got some ideas. I'm really bouncing around with ideas for the Owen's Best project already, I'm having trouble settling on a scale material... But maybe I'll do some super fun exotic scales with the Butcher.

well maybe not a king cutter, but a boker "unrivalled" an excellent razor. i have three razors that have that tree on them and a different brand name than boker... but they all look like and hone and shave like bokers, so i consider them as such.
    Be just and fear not.

Oooohhhh good catch Wullie! I thought all Wostys were George Wosty. Apart from that, it was the second smoothest shave I had. I can't wait til I prep fully/properly to shave with it. I'm turning into a big Sheffield fan. I guess I really don't have any experience with any old Solingen blades, but seriously, who said Solingen was the "City of Blades"? Cuz I'd really like to have a discussion with that person about that particular statement.

We all really need to figure out about a meet & greet. Ben, you never said what dark deep crevice of SRP that forum for meets was?

I just shaved with the Ebro, and as expected, it was unbelievable. I'll probably take the ONYX for a spin Saturday. I love this hobby.

There was an awesome get together at the Palmer House sponsored by Merz Apothecary and some other vendors. Unfortunately I couldn't make it but I am looking forward to the next time they have one.
