    Default T.F. Bastet 8/8

Received my newest member of the herd today, this thing looks like a battle axe..

It is a 8/8 T.F. Bastet Sheffield & Amsterdam razor from the 1840s with oakwood handles. It weighs a stunning 174 grams! It is a sheffieldsteel wedge..

This is compared to my favourite 6/8 Liesé & Co.

Unfortunately I won't get to shave with it anywhere soon since I got some rash on my face

Nice! That is a heavy duty blade. Let us know how the shave goes when you can.

That is a very cool looking razor. I look forward to hearing how it shaves once that rash is gone

I love everything about it....For someone with a heavy beard, it will be the beards worst enemy lol

Too bad that I'm blonde and do not have epic bearding I just like the idea of shaving with the lurking danger of having your head seperated from your neck by the slightest mistake with this cleaver
    Speedster and AndrewK like this.
