Thanked: 194Dubl Duck Goldedge pics
hey everyone,
as promised these are the pics of my new dubl duck. I could not believe how good of shape this thing was when I got it. And of course like the idiot noob I am with restoring I took flitz polish to it and took of some of the goldwash...which was all there btw but it did have rust on it. I read a hundred times not to take it to goldwash and completly forgot about it. Thankfully I stopped in time so that I didn't take it all of. This duck looks like it never seen a hone in its life. the scales are in amazing shape as well as the inlays. Here are some pics after I cleaned it up. It will be going to Glen this week to be taken care of by a pro. Thanks for looking

Thanked: 194thanks everyone, unfortunatly I think there might be a problem with my blade. there seems to be a raised lip all the way along the blade just above the bevel...is this normal? it is on both sides
