Some Custom steel en route to me
So, here is a custom razor I commissioned from Robert Williams.
When I started to draw a design for this one, I went with a big Sheffield as my base.
The prolonged tail, jimps, thumb-notch and more hollowed grinding was added upon that.
The end result is a 10/8, half hollow beast of a shaver!
My drawing wasn't all that to be honest, but Robert understood what I was looking for and made it just the way I saw this in my head.
A true artist will do that
I had him put my insignia on the blade, with the font of my choice. I wanted a hand-written style on that.
That doesn't add to the resale value, but let's be honest, I ain't ever gonna sell this baby anyhows
I've received these photos from Robert, and hopefully he won't mind me putting them up here.
I'll be adding this one to the RW club when it arrives

Wow, Björnar, that's one serious meat cleaver. Looks amazing and I think you'll be very happy with this one!! ... You'll prob only going to shave with this one from now on and be so happy with it, that you'll decide to sell me a couple of your Filys for a song - I need a Tourino and a for barbers use, thank you!

Thanked: 485That's really cool. My little De Pews is tiny compared to this, but I do love its long tail...

Wow, what a razor! Is it horn scales?

Yes, the scales are indeed horn, and the wedge is elephant ivory
