Thanked: 23That's a nice looking razor. Nice work.
How did you polish the blade without ruining the etching?

Thanked: 43The etching is actually ground into the surface of the blade so I just used some Mother's polish and it brought up the lustre of the raised parts and didn't do much with the ground out parts. I was surprised the design on the blade wasn't just a normal etch.

Thanked: 43Thanks for that info Manah. It's interesting to know that they were gold etched originally. Yours is very nice!

Thanked: 43Man! It's crazy to think that this razor could be over 120 years old. I can't imagine a Mach 3 being around 120 years from now at all, never mind in this condition.

Thanked: 220Good buy, I would have bought it entirely based on the looks of the blade. The etching is beautiful.
