Default Rodgers and Sons "Military Razor"

This was one of a few I traded for.

It's got ivory scales and more than bit of wear.

Back scale is cracked and has been repaired with what appears to be sterling. The clamp has no seam. I'm going to leave it as is.

    Haven't deciphered the mark on the scale. Can't tell if it's "13 a" or "B a".

    It's pretty much a wedge.

I figure it's going to VERY interesting to hone, but I plan on putting it in the rotation.

I really like J. Rodgers razors, this one should give a great shave as all others once properly honed. I would give it a few strokes on a finishing hone first after markering the bevel just to see where the angle falls compared to what is currently on it. If the hone wear area is too large for you taping the spine may be in order.

Very interesting razor. I'm certain it will give a great shave when honed up.
