I picked up a Clauss United States Marine Corp Razor about a week ago. It is in really great shape, and I was excited to get it, as this is my first 6/8's blade. I had been meaning to post it here so I could show it off , although I just hadn't gotten around to it. Earlier today though I saw an auction on the Bay for the exact razor, in almost the exact same condition as mine; and it was going for $177.50 (although it is "shave ready") with over 3 days left. I got pretty excited when I saw that! As I paid substantially less for it. I would like to know if this is a desirable razor, and if the amount the one on Ebay is going for, actually represents the true value of the razor. I don't plan on selling it, but I would like to know a little more about it, inasmuch as it always feels good when you know did well on a purchase.
