Banner Day at the Old Antique Mall!
Went to the antique mall today and came away with a pretty nice haul. Got a Wade & Butcher 15/16 extra hollow, a rather unique looking Boker in bone scales, a Rolls Razor in perfect condition, a Gillette Slim adjustable and a DE blade hone all for under $50. Haven't cleaned any thing up yet. Too eager to share.

Is it possible to post closer pictures of Boker. I have one razor, blank one and looks like yours Boker. I`m wondering if i could have blank Boker blade. BTW nice find and good price.

Thanked: 23Nice deal! I believe the DE is Gillette Super Adjustable, not Slim Adjustable.

Finished cleaning the straights up. The W&B wasn't too bad and is already honed and ready to go. The Boker cleaned up well but needs quite a bit of work. After cleaning it I discovered a small crack at the toe. It's in a good place and is pretty small, but it is just big enough that the geometry of the toe will be changed. I also started to hone the Rolls blade. I have it done through 8k but it is slow going.

Had a shave with the Rolls today. Last night I honed the blade through a full progression of King's and finished it on the translucent Arkie. I must say that I'm pretty damn impressed with it. Gave a nice smooth shave. It reminded me once that it wasn't a regular safety razor, but overall was good. Now to take a week off from shaving so that I can properly test the W&B.
