Default 8/8 Wade and Butcher with Barbers Notch

Of course we all have seen these before. i am happy to add her to the family. As I learn more from all of you wonderful people at SRP certain things stand out as my straight razor collection grows. Even though I don't shave with them I like the look and heft of wedges and I love blades that are 8/8's and up. This blade fufills those requirements and with the knowledge gained the scales look to be in great shape as does the hardware. Once you get a quote to replace scales, salvaging the existing ones comes interestingly important. Other point to note is that this blade seems to have a slight "s" shaped edge. Asthetically I think it looks cool but is this a problem for people who shave?

In a half year of collecting I think this is razor 29 or 30. I am starting to lose count. Does anyone else make their bed just to have spot to lay out their razors and stare at them for hours? Opening and closing them, then lining them up by size. Next you pick out your favorites, put all the others away, then continue to stare at your favs for another hour. Painstakingly studying them. Deciding who you might ask to restore them. The next thing you know, you wake up bleeding because you fell asleep on your bed with your favorite 8/8 W&B straight razors open.

Happy to share another W&B with you wonderful people at SRP. Everyone that I have had the pleasure to interact with so far has been totally awesome. Thanks
