Local Auction Score - Greaves and Marshes and Shepherd
Finally had a nice little score at our local auction. I was poking around in the display cases when I saw these, and got them at a great price. These pictures are after some minor cleaning. Two W. Greaves and Sons and a Marshes and Shepherd with a thumb notch. Been after all of these for a while. Best of all, none have any damage blade wise and should hone up easily. The two Greaves razors have some wedge end cracking on the scales but I think I've stabilized it for now.

Just finished up a light ground-up restore of the middle Greaves. After some sanding and polishing, here it is:

I hope you can feel the envy rays over that Marshes & Shepherd. The late WR blades give me a serious case of lust. It's also neat to see a Greaves with the 'I AM GOOD AND WILL SHAVE WELL' stamp
