Thanked: 884WELL? Got her through the hones. Edge still has a couple of pinhole problems. Got ready to strop it when the phone rang and it was the kid. He'd run his old Ford off in the ditch and tore up the lower control arm and dog knows what else. Went out where he was. He wasn't hurt, Car's fixable. Had it towed to a repair shop we know. He's got a full time job now. He WILL pay for his screw up.
Got back about 20 minutes ago, stropped it and got a KLOSSCUT even with the small issues with the edge. It's a neat wee thingie. Doubt here'll be much left if I hone it back past the holes. Darn it.

Thanked: 884OF the wreck or the razor?
I'll have some pics of the razor later this evening. As it was ONE FRICKEN THIRTY this morning when I posted that. AND to add insult to injury, I have to go in to work an hour early so he can be there when he is supposed to be. The he has to wait an hour and half for my day to end to so WE can go home.. Oh well, he's worth it.
EDIT: here's the pic of the razor wreck

Thanked: 109Ah the joys of parenthood. That blade is a wreck. I'll bet you brawt er bak a life. Oh drive safe nothing more humiliating than a collision while delivering a lecture on safe driving. Oh wait finding out my license had expired when taking the boy to his driving test and having to retest myself was more humiliating.

Thanked: 884OUCH, LOL.
I may introduce that poor wee blade to the DMT and see if I can find some clean steel to set a bevel on. I'm still amazed at how well it shaved with mess in the middle of the blade.
Got bigger fish to fry at the moment, so the little feller is on the back burner for now.
