Thread: Newest Acquisitions

Here are some of the most recents things I've picked up from various places. The only thing that I have bought recently that is missing in this photo is a minty Stahly Live Blade I found at an antique store. It is the all metal version, rather than the black plastic and metal version.

Anyways, in the photo is a:

Port Safety Razor- blue plastic handle and gold plated brass head. It was cheap and I haven't seen another one, so I thought I'd pick it up.

H4 Gillette Slim Adjustable- This thing is in awesome condition! It looks a ton better in person that in the pic. $23 shipped with the Blue Blade dispenser.

W.J. Donovan Blue Steel- I really liked the look of this razor especially the scales, which is why I bought it, that and it wasn't very expensive. Although, now that I have it in my hands it seems like it has been cut down, at some point in its life it was longer. I am a little bummed about that but whoever did grind it down did a great job, they even brought the spine to a point instead of just grinding it flat. I still need to clean it up though it has some rust spots.

I can't say much about the straight from the photo, the bottom 1/3 is missing from my screen, but the double on the right is quite nice. Thank you for sharing them.

I know!!! For some reason, all my pictures load with a grey bar over a portion of the bottom. At first i thought it was my phone's camera but I tried my freinds and it did same thing. I don't suppose you have any idea why its happening?
