Default Brought A Rolls Razor Home.

I have seen these Rolls razors many times in the antique stores, but left them alone. I decided to add one to my razor collection. This one appeared in good shape and cost under $25.00. I had to clean her up a bit. The stains on the hone pad are from my fingers; I made the mistake of picking it up when I still had lubricant on my hands.
I need to get the little extra blade case to make it complete, I think.

    Thanks for looking.

Thats nice! I love shaving with my rolls. Some leather conditioner will help the strop from time to time. Good to see you have the instructions. They are spot-on, IMO.

Thanks guys, I have thought about giving her a try, but will have to get the courage up first. I will put a little conditioner on the strop today.

Try it out, you going to love it, I've use them a number of times with great results, it's one invention that does what it claims.
    Great find, congrat's!

Hmm. I think I need to get one of mine back in the rotation again. They are a lot of fun to shave with. Good find by the way!

Interesting to see such positive comments on the Rolls here. I was tempted by one in an antique store here in Ottawa a couple of months ago, but passed on it. Maybe I should see if it's still there...

They are pretty cheap over all, so grab a nice one if you can. They appear to be a great piece of shaving history.

Great score! If you like Sheffield steel, you'll like shaving with the Rolls. I honed mine on my Kings and finished up on a translucent Arkie. Gives a fantastic shave.
