Thread: New toys! Comming soon

I should be getting these in the mail Tomorrow or Monday. The top two are in pretty decent shape from the images, the bottom one besides the heavier rust on the Tang, also has a crack in the scales through the bottom pin on the opposite side from what's shown.

Also I'm not 100% on the maker of the top one but I'll look it over for some marks when it arrives, there appears to be a stamp under the light rust that I can't quite make out in close up pictures, and I start cleaning them up. The middle one is a A.W. Wadsworth and the bottom one is a Giesen & Forsthoff. I'll take some better pictures once they arrive and I start doing some clean up. I've already decided what to do about the worst one, since the scales have a crack at the pin, I'm planning on re-scaling it and making sure to get all that rust off after I unpin it. I'm pretty handy with hand tools, with plenty of time spent in one type of fabrication or another, so I'm planning on using the current scales as a template to make a new set out of Flame Birch.
