Default My First Wade & Butcher and Joseph Allen!

I just recieved this W&B in the mail yesterday! Its called "Gentlemen's Favourite" and is a half hollow grind (I believe). The Joseph Allen is called "Medium Size Hollow Ground" except it sure seems darn close to a wedge. Both blades are 4/8s. I am going to restore both and send them out to be honed. Surprizingly the W&B still has quite an edge it can shave hair off my arm. Usually when sellers say the blade is sharp, it is no where near razor sharp, but this time the seller was right.

I purchased the W&B for $26 shipped and the Joseph Allen & Sons for $20. I think i did pretty well! I am really excited to shave with them!

Great score! The JA looks to be in great shape already, and the W&B looks like it could be cleaned up.

Thank you! I actually started cleaning up the Allen, so the picture shows the beginning of my efforts. Although it actually wasnt too bad to begin with! And yea the W&B definitely needs some cleaning.
